Keely Miller

Social Media

Do you spend your entire work day scanning Facebook, Twitter, and a slew of blogs? So does Keely, CVM’s resident Gen Y-er and social media junkie. Keely’s primary role is to act as the direct conduit between brands and their online audiences. Through on-the-ground monitoring, listening and audience generation, she helps clients like IBM, brgr and The Grossman Group identify and connect with their audiences, shape their messages, and generally engage with their online followers. She’s always on the lookout for new ways to unite clients with consumers and/or business leads through creative (and often times, common sense) tactics that prevail in this exciting environment of real-time information, oversharing, and virtual, yet powerful, relationships.

Keely graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Communications. In order to perfect her aptitude for quoting obscure lines from even obscurer movies, she additionally earned a Film Studies Certificate. Keely hones her on-the-job skills off the job as well, thanks to her real-life obsession with social media (read: propensity for online stalking and compulsive updates). When not doing that, you’ll find Keely watching just about any cop show she can get her hands on, baking chocolate chip cookies from scratch (watch out, Genna!), convincing people to give country music a chance, and accidentally repeating her own stories.

Diet Coke
Keely has an unhealthy relationship with fountain Diet Coke. It’s, like, one day they’re on; the next day they’re off. But mostly, they’re on.
Mad Men
Keely wrote her senior thesis about the role of women in the first season of Mad Men. Even though she watched every episode almost a hundred times while researching it, she still came home and popped in the DVD the day she turned in her paper.
Sprain
Keely has sprained both of her ankles so many times playing soccer and running that her doctor told her the next sprain will require surgery.
Sports
Keely’s one of those girls who really likes sports. She’s been a die-hard Lakers fan since birth. Literally. She was born on Father’s Day, the year the Lakers beat the Pistons in the Finals. Her dad told her mom, “Don’t go into labor until the game’s over.” And she didn’t.
NYto CA
Keely is proud to be one of the hearty souls who moved TO New York FROM California, and not the other way around.
