Jignesh Pabari

Senior Web/App Developer

Jignesh “Jiggy” Pabari is CVM’s lead mobile app developer and overall open source technology genius. Jiggy is one of the primary reasons we’re able to say “yes” to just about every request our clients can dream up. “Can you do this?” Yep. “How about that?” Of course. “And some combination of this and that?” Not a problem.

Jignesh received his masters from Gujarat University and his Bachhelor’s from Saurashtra University. Prior to joining CVM, Jignesh spent four years working as an iPhone Team Leader and Sr. PHP Developer on a number of applications and websites — all of which were built using an impressive variety of web technologies (PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML), frameworks (iPhone Technologies, Symfony, CakePHP), RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), operating systems (Linux, Mac, Windows and DOS), and coding languages (C, C++).

Rotala and Eggplant
I have a baby boy named Saumya, who’s getting ready to enter his terrible twos. His name means “calm” in both Gujarati (my native language) and Hindi, which is ironic because, well, he’s not at all...
Rotala and Eggplant
I have traveled all over the world sampling Indian cuisine, but I still swears by the Rotala and Eggplant Bharta with Onion and Butter milk that my grandmother makes in my native Jam-Khambhalia (state of Gujarat).
Movies
My siblings and I grew up watching American, English and French movies “because they had good kissing scenes in them.” Along the way, I started gaining an understanding of the beauty and philosophies of these then far-off cultures, which is what inspired some of my first travels to the west.
Rotala and Eggplant
It only took about three days of working with CVM before they converted my name “Jignesh” into the more affectionate “Jiggy.” I was working on the assumption that “Jiggy” was a good thing based on the whole Will Smith song “Getting Jiggy with it,” but just as I started getting used to it, I learned that one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has a dog named Jiggy. And it fits in her purse. I’m now having doubts about this one.
Renaissance Man
When not glued to my computer (which is rare, sadly), I’m obsessed with music, painting, and again, foreign movies. I think this makes me something of a renaissance man. At the very least, it provides me with a little balance. A little.
