As part of an overarching content and lead-generation strategy, CVM worked with client Hunt Big Sales to create original educational content that would demonstrate the company’s expertise in solving the specific problems identified by their clients and prospects. The first piece of content in what is now a complete sales resource center was Landing Big Sales with an RFP — a 48-page downloadable e-book that Hunt Big Sales offers free upon completion of a brief registration form.

The registration form allowed Hunt Big Sales to meet its goal of generating leads, while providing free content allowed the new company to instill trust and establish their expertise.

We created light-hearted imagery to enhance the tone of the subject matter, which was itself presented in a casual and accessible manner rather than a textbook one.

Another way we made the subject matter more accessible was by presenting tips and lists in tables and boxes, and avoiding a sterile two-column textbook format wherever possible.

Due to the popularity of the e-book, Hunt Big Sales was able to make it the basis of an email marketing campaign that drove traffic to its paid services. They also created a one-day paid Landing Big Sales with an RFP workshop, based on the content of the e-book. They also generated over 1,000 new leads through their registration form and used the book’s content as leverage in relevant new business pitches.
